Universal mobile testing laboratory stationed at a school construction site
Service · Mobile Laboratories

Bring the laboratory to the site.

Conforming mobile laboratories stationed on your project — so specimens are cured, tested and reported where they were cast, and a failing break is known in hours instead of days.

01
The Brief

On a large pour, the drive to the laboratory is the longest part of the test.

Specimens are fragile in their first hours, and every mile of transport is a chance to compromise the result. On high-volume or remote projects, moving cylinders off site also means waiting on a courier before anyone knows whether the pour conformed.

A mobile laboratory removes both problems. Specimens cure in controlled conditions steps from where they were cast, testing runs on calibrated equipment under the same accreditation as our fixed laboratories, and the result reaches the project team the same day.

Same Standard. Shorter Distance.

02
Capabilities

What the unit does on site.

A deployed laboratory with the equipment, curing capacity and personnel to run the daily program in place.

01
On-site curing
Temperature-controlled initial curing and moist storage that meets the standard without a road trip.
ASTM C31
02
Compression testing
Calibrated compression machines for cylinders, cubes and cores, verified on the same interval as our fixed laboratories.
ASTM C39
03
Soils & aggregate testing
Proctor, gradation and moisture determination performed on site to keep earthwork moving.
Earthwork
04
High-volume programs
Mat pours, mass concrete and multi-crew sites where specimen counts overwhelm a courier schedule.
Large pours
05
Remote & secured sites
Airports, secured facilities and locations where daily off-site transport is impractical or restricted.
Restricted access
06
Field office & reporting
A staffed base for technicians, sample logging and reporting without leaving the project.

    Deliverables

What changes when the laboratory is on site.

    HOURS
    Same-day results
Break results reach the project team the day the test runs, not after a courier cycle.
    CURE
    Curing records
Continuous temperature logs proving specimens were held within the standard from casting to test.
    COC
    Shorter chain of custody
Fewer transfers between casting and testing, and fewer opportunities for a specimen to be compromised.
    CAL
    Calibration record
Equipment in the unit is calibrated to NIST-traceable references on the same schedule as the fixed laboratories.
    SCOPE
    Accreditation scope
Written confirmation of which tests the deployed unit is accredited to perform.
    SETUP
    Site requirements
A short list of what the unit needs — pad, power and access — agreed before mobilization.
    04
    How We Work

    Mobilized, accredited, staffed.

A mobile laboratory is only worth deploying if it carries the same accreditation as the building it came from.

    01
    Program assessment
We look at specimen volume, site access and reporting deadlines to confirm a mobile unit is actually the right answer.
    02
    Siting & setup
The unit is placed, leveled and powered, with curing tanks brought to temperature before the first specimen arrives.
    03
    Verification
Equipment is calibrated and the accreditation scope for the deployed unit is confirmed in writing before testing begins.
    04
    Daily operation
Certified technicians cast, cure, log and test on site, with curing temperatures recorded continuously.
    05
    Review & release
Results are reviewed by a licensed professional and issued the same day, exactly as they would be from a fixed laboratory.

Proximity is only an advantage if the accreditation travels with the equipment. Ours does.
