The Brief

In an industrial building, the floor is the structure the client actually feels.

Warehouses and plants live or die on subgrade preparation and slab performance. Racking loads, forklift traffic and machine foundations all transfer straight into the ground, and flatness tolerances that read as a technical footnote at bid become an operations problem on day one.

We test the subgrade before it is covered, verify the slab as it is placed, and investigate the fill and bearing conditions underneath before the building is designed around them.
